Miari American born but lived her first 5 years in japan. Yokohama. MIARI is half Japanese and Scandanavian. MIARI started to sing when she was 4 years old. But infront of an audience whe she was 6 years old. Miari loves ALL music. These days she specialises in jazz. Though she can sing anything. She loves the BLUES. Miari has performed all over the world and she also speaks more than english. Japanese, spanish and few others to add.

 
 

 
 
 
 

Miari, an exceptional vocalist with an astounding vocal
range. A graduate of the San Diego, CA Creative
Performing Arts School with majors in Vocal, Dance,
Acting, TV and Set Design. In 1997 she took the stage as
the lead vocalist for the Discovery Band on Disneyland's
Terrace Stage. She was also lead vocalist for the City
Guys TV show. In 2000 she appeared as the hostess
along side Paul Allen at the pre-grammy awards.  Miari was
also chosen to sing the national anthem at a reception in
San Diego in honor of Mohammad Ali and George Forman.
In 2000 she signed to Giant/Warner Brothers records. She
also performed as one of the back up singers on the song
"This Year" on
Christina Aguilera's Christmas album. In
2004 she played the role of "Celeste" in the movie Tony &
Tina's Wedding in which she also sang all of the female
vocals on the movie soundtrack. She is currently a session
vocalist for various major recording producers such as
Scott Spock with The MATRIX, Guy Roche, Georgio
Merroder, Matthew Gerrard and Jason Bowen.

 
 
 
  Miari is planning on a tour to Japan later in 2007 with the backing of a Tokyo Jazz group.

Star-Studded Event Raises Over $250,000

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 26, 2001 - Sir Elton John hosted the Ninth Annual Elton John Oscar Party benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation on Sunday, March 25th at Moomba. Co-hosted by luxury jeweler & watchmaker, Chopard, and sponsored by IN STYLE magazine, the star-studded event raised more than $250,000 for the charity.

The gala celebration was attended by the Hollywood and Music Industry elite, including Russell Crowe, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cameron Crowe, Ed Harris, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Dame Judi Dench, Sigourney Weaver, Peter Fonda, Elizabeth Hurley, Nicolas Cage, Hilary Swank, Chad Lowe, Kevin Spacey, Michael Michelle, Miari, Allison Janney, Richard Schiff, Martina Navratilova, Jennifer Jimenez, Nancy Wilson, Lisa Marie Presley.

  Joseph sang "Rosanna", "Hold the line" , "Can you feel the love tonight", "Angel Eyes" (composed by Joey), and "Scream and Shout" (composed by Joseph and Joey). "Angel Eyes" and "Scream and Shout" will appear in the soundtrack for the upcoming movie" TONY 'N' TINA'S WEDDING".
